Retail opportunities for vendors will fall into the following classes:
1. Artisan Booths- Sellers of handcrafted items- Artisans must be in booth.
2. Concession- Food and Beverage Sales
3. Corporate Vendors- Any other booths than handcrafted or concession providing information or products for sale.
If you are interested in becoming a vendor for the weekend, please complete application form attached before April 30th, 2024.
Payment must accompany application to be eligible for registration.
The Historic Red Barn Pub & Grill reserves the right to accept or deny an applicant without cause.
Contract Vendors will be required to enter into a contractual agreement with The Historic Red Barn Pub & Grill agreeing to the terms and conditions outlined below.
County Fair Hours of Operation • The County Fair is a two-day event- July 19 & 20 2024 • Operating Hours are. • Friday, July 19 5-11 • Saturday July 20, 12-11 • All Booths must be staffed and open to the public during hours of operation. • We must have a list of staff for your booths upon registration, no extra bodies will be permitted. • One wristband will be in vendor packages for each working member. County Fair Site and Set Up • The County Fair takes place on the ball diamond next to The Historic Red Barn Pub & Grill. • The site plan for vendors will be arranged with the booths lined up. Sites will be staked, and each vendor must stay within the allotted space provided. • Please be advised that you will be responsible for creating your own booth, no supplies will be provided. It’s a good idea to make sure that booths will provide adequate weather protection. Also note that the booths will be required to be open at night and vendors are responsible for their own lighting. • You can enter the grounds for set up Friday July 19th at 10:00 Booth set-up is to be completed and all vehicles removed from the site by 2:00pm. • Please let us know approx. amount of space you will be requiring e.g., 10”x 12” 10”x 30” • No guaranteed source of power. Vendors must make their own arrangements for generators. • Booths will not be provided with running water. • Wi-Fi will be available. • You are responsible for removing everything you brought in upon exit at the end of the weekend., examples: awnings, chairs, garbage, cooking oil etc. • A $100.00 damage deposit will be required for food vendors. If site is left clean as per our agreement it will be returned to you. Environment • The vendor will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the booth space and the space immediately adjacent to it. • Each booth will be required to provide their own single garbage receptacle. • Also required to clean up any messes made during the allotted times. Access Passes and Parking • You will be provided with two vendor access passes for the weekend. Pick up your packages on Thursday July 18th at The Pub & Local Market in Charlie Lake. • Additional weekend passes may be purchased for regular admission to the grounds prior to the festival. $160.00 • A single county Fair grounds parking pass will be provided to each concession vendor. This pass is for the supply vehicle (not for an individual). There will be no vehicle movement permitted during operating hours. The county fair will endeavor to allow supply vehicles to be parked near vendor booths. However, vendors should bring dollies or carts for transfer of supplies. Fees and Charges • Payment will be accepted e-transfer jdundees@hotmail.com Attention Trynna Dion • Food vendors will pay 500.00 for the 2 days. Plus 160.00 for additional workers (over 5 workers) • Artisan vendors will be setting up on the ball diamond and your fee is $200.00. • Vendor fees and extra passes requested must be paid prior to setting up on the grounds. • Vendor fees are non-refundable. • E-transfer payment to jdundees@hotmail.com General • Vendors will be covered under the Energetic County Fair Business license while operating on the fair site. • Concession vendors will be required to obtain a temporary permit from the Health Unit Environmental Health Inspector. It must be posted for the public to view. As well you must have your Food Safe. The Fair must receive a copy of these tickets and permits prior to admittance to the festival grounds. • Have fire extinguishers equipped and ready to use. Concession Vendor Selection • The fair seeks to offer a wide range of foods at a reasonable cost. A detailed menu including prices charged to the patrons must be included in the application • Vendor selection is the sole right of the fair organizers and all decisions will be final. Vendor menus will be approved by the fair. Vendors cannot sell items that have not been listed on the vendor application form and approved by the fair committee. o Snack/candy/dessert vendor ( chips, chocolate bars, candy, cotton candy, popcorn, prepared items such as cheesecake and cake, sandwiches , cold beverages and regular coffee are permitted items) o Frozen food vendor (ice cream, frozen novelties, shakes, smoothies. Etc. are permitted menu items. o Pastry vendor (donuts or deep fried pastry prepared on site, cold beverages and regular coffee are permitted items o Coffee specialty vendor (hot and cold coffees, lattes, cappuccino, etc. are permitted menu items. A selection of baked goods is also permitted. o Hamburger and hot dog vendor (hot dogs, hamburgers, fries, cold beverages are permitted menu items o Ethnic/theme vendors (these vendors would follow an ethnic or food type theme.
